Sea Clouds was captured 200 feet above the sea, while Turner walked on Cape Byron, Australia. Looking down, he saw swirling clouds suspended above the Earth’s atmosphere. This scene is about capturing Turner’s initial impression, but also a celebration of an incredible range of tone and colour.
