The Light Storm series was inspired by New York’s city lights at the top of the Empire State building, which Turner saw as stars suspended in a man-made universe.
He wanted to set the lights free and treat them as raw elements on my canvas, allowing them to randomly paint their way into a completely new and dynamic visual story.
